Sales report: Mercedes-Benz June sales registeres a dip

Bad news for Mercedes-Benz USA, as they weren’t able to hit their June sales target. The German automaker only sold 26,196 units in the previous month. The Mercedes-Benz smart and Vans reported a total sales of 74 and 3,005 units respectively in June, thus bringing the total sales figure to 29,275 units for June. On a year-to-date basis, Mercedes-Benz USA sold 147,396 cars, to this if we add 496 smart cars and 16,025 Vans, the grand total then is 163,917.

The sales leader for the brand in June came out to be C-Class, GLC, and GLE model lines. The C-Class sold around 3,951 units, the GLE 4,843, and GLC topped the charts with 6,568 units.

As for the Mercedes-AMG high-performance cars, a total of 2,654 units (around 12.2% more) were sold in June, however, with respect to year-to-date bases, 18,214 units (18.9% more) were traded.

The Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned model record a total sales of 10,901 units in June, that’s 1.3 percent low compared to last year. Also, 64,370 models were sold by MBCPO on year-to-date bases, an increase of 3.6 percent over the previous year.
