2021 Chevrolet Suburban price starts at $52,995, to go on sale by mid-2020

The 2021 Chevrolet Suburban is here and we now know quite a lot about its trims levels and pricing. The starting price of the SUV is set at $52,995, which also includes a destination charge of $1,295. Such pricing makes it at the same point as the outgoing model.

The information on the pricing has been acquired from Cars Direct, a reliable source. The price of the range-topping High Country is $73,595, while the LT, RST, Z71 and Premier variants are priced at $57,795, $61,095, $63,195 and $66,595 respectively.

The 2021 Chevy Suburban is built on an updated platform, along with an independent rear suspension. This makes the suspension setup more compliant to all types of roads. The SUV also gets optional features, like Air Ride Adaptive Suspension and Magnetic Ride Control to make things better for the ride quality.

The new Chevrolet Suburban can be had in two engine options. All the variants (except the range-topper) will run on a 5.3-liter, V8 engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 335 hp. The top-of-the-line model will be available with a bigger 6.2-liter V8 engine that could make a whopping power of 420 hp. The availability of the 3.0-liter inline, 6-cylinder engine has not been spoken of yet. Power will be delivered to the wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission gearbox.

The 2021 Chevy Suburban is slightly bigger than the outgoing generation. The SUV is 1.3 inches longer, while the wheelbase has grown by 4.1 inches. This means the overhangs are now smaller than before. The boot space has also gone up by 19%.

Both 2021 Suburban and Tahoe will be available for buyers by the middle of this year. Alternatively, the GMC Yukon XL also has similar technical specifications as the Suburban, though it is marginally more expensive because of the added luxury.
