Say hi to the Hyundai Veloster Grappler Concept

Say hi to the Hyundai Veloster Grappler Concept

Off-road dedicated models are in the trend these days. And, with more & more automobile manufacturers launching their trail-special models, Hyundai has joined the suite, albeit in a stranger manner. With that said, here's saying hello to the Hyundai Veloster Grappler Concept, which is an off-road-ready variant of the South-Korean hatchback. The Hyundai Veloster Grappler Concept will step on the podium at the 2019 SEMA Show that will be held from Tuesday, 5th of November to Friday, 8th of November in the next month.

The changes and special additions on the off-road dedicated hatchback include a custom vinyl exterior body wrap, lifted suspension that provides the Veloster with increased ground clearance, Seibon® carbon fibre hood, Method Racing wheels clothed with all-terrain tyres, custom brush guard with LED lamps, Thule roof basket, and a Goal Zero removable solar panel that can power your stuff during the adventure rides.

On the inside, there is a roll cage with a full-sized spare wheel mount, Recaro seats with houndstooth pattern upholstery, first aid kit, roadside assistance kit, sport pedals, sport shifter, all-weather mats, ambient footwell lighting, cargo blocks, dome tent, and controls for the new LED lamps. While the exact powertrain is not disclosed yet, we might see the US-spec Veloster N's 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder under the hood of the Hyundai Veloster Grappler Concept as well. Power figures read 275 hp of maximum power and a peak torque of 353 Nm. Hyundai has also equipped with the concept with a Borla cat-back exhaust for that enhanced performance and sound. We can't wait for the SEMA Show 2019 to kick-off, how about you?
