Mid-size cars are one of the most popular types of vehicles with consumers in the US. They are perfect in terms of space, comfort, fuel economy, and performance. The Ford Fusion is one of the first mid-size cars in the country and has recently received an update. The 2019 Fusion was launched with minor design tweaks and a new set of standard driver-assistance features. The five-seater Fusion is offered in nine variants - S, SE, SEL, Titanium, V6 Sport, Hybrid SE, Hybrid SEL, Hybrid Titanium, and Energi Titanium. It is available with six engines; two can be equipped with all-wheel drive, while two are hybrids. The engine options include 1.5-litre Ecoboost, 2.0-liter Ecoboost, and 2.5-liter IVCT engine. The Fusion Energi titanium plug-in hybrid boosts its battery-only range from 21 to 25 miles, making it eligible for a more significant tax credit. The base variant is powered by a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder, IVCT engine that generates 175hp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 175lb-ft at 4,500rpm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels using a six-speed automatic transmission. Ford claims that the S variant returns a mileage of 21MPG in the city and 31MPG while cruising on the highway. In terms of looks, The 2019 Fusion has received minor tweaks here and there, but they are hardly noticeable. Up front, the wide grille looks reminiscent to the Aston Martins. The front fascia houses fog lights on higher-trim Fusions, but the S and SEs are equipped with conventional headlamps. The Fusion goes with mild use of chrome this year. The sloping roofline makes the 2019 Fusion look very appealing. The vehicle is available in ten paint schemes - White Platinum, Velocity Blue, Oxford White, Rich Copper, Magnetic, Ingot Silver, Ruby Red, White Gold, Agate Black and Blue Metallic. Inside the 2019 Ford Fusion S, you get new upholstery colors this year. The 4.2-inch screen is offered as standard for the infotainment; however, there’s an optional 8.0-inches touchscreen available, which is standard on all the other versions. The dashboard has Matte silver trim sets, but it looks dated as compared to other options available in the same segment. It is equipped with the latest Ford Co-Pilot360, which offers a suite of technologies including automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high-beam headlamps. Additionally, it has the FordPass Connect, which allows the driver and passengers to enjoy an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot. It features a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, powered by AT&T and can connect up to 10 devices at once. You can also access the hotspot from up to fifty feet outside the vehicle. The FordPass keeps track of your Wi-Fi data usage as well. The 2019 Ford Fusion starts retailing at $22,840 and goes all the way up to $34,595, for the Energi Titanium trim. The company is offering a limited warranty which covers 3 years/36,000 miles and a powertrain warranty of 5 years/60,000 miles. It stands to compete against the Hyundai Sonata, the Chevrolet Malibu, the Nissan Altima, the Kia Optima and the Hyundai Sonata.
Since I had been in search for a midsized car, I did not compromise this time while I decided to select one for myself. I did lot of online research before we zeroed down to Ford Fusion. I fell in love with this car as the handling aspect is too good. You can enjoy a smooth and effortless drive on
The Ford Fusion is an ideal car if you wish to experience a smooth and comfortable ride. This mid-size sedan may not be the newest sedan in the market, but it certainly looks good even after all these years. I love the subtle design of my car which makes it look very graceful. The interior of the Fusion is smartly

Sedans are a dying breed, the whole world just seems to want SUVs. I for one am not in that craze train. I prefer sedans for their dynamic nature, they are just more fun to drive. This led me to the Ford Fusion. A great car overall, looks stylish and has adequate performance. The Fusion is a fun car to
