Honda Civic Hatchback

Based on the Civic sedan, the Honda Civic Hatchback shares the dramatic styling of the former, with a truncated boot design with slightly revamped rear design. Available in five variants – LX, Sport, EX, EX-L and Sport Touring, the Honda Civic Hatchback has a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine as the only mill on offer under its hood.

The engine in the LX and EX variants produces 174 PS of power and 220 Nm of torque and has CVT as the standard paired gearbox. However, in the Sport and Sport Touring variants, power output is bumped up to 180 PS, with both of them getting a 6-speed manual gearbox in addition.

Honda has priced the Civic Hatchback between $21,650 to $28,050, and has pitted it against the hatchback versions of Toyota Corolla and Chevrolet Cruze.
